Dez Bryant may not be the same player he was three or four years ago, but he should still receive some respectable contract offers as a potential No. 1 receiver who won’t turn 30 until November. However, it seems like it will take more than just money to sign Bryant.

On Sunday, Bryant appeared to indicate that money will not be the biggest factor in his free agency decision when he retweeted the following piece of insight from Mike Fisher of 105.3 The Fan.

If Bryant wants to be paid $17 million per year like Antonio Brown, his list of potential suitors will be very short. But if he’s willing to take less money for a better situation on a contending team, that would open up more options.

The belief all along was that the Cowboys’ decision to release Bryant would be about money, but Bryant said the team never asked him to take a pay cut. He has also reportedly indicated that he could take revenge into consideration when signing with a new team, so don’t be surprised if Bryant turns down a few extra dollars to get exactly what he wants.
