The Galaxy S9 could be painfully expensive if these EU price leaks are real

The Galaxy S9 could be painfully expensive if these EU price leaks are real A source familiar with the Galaxy S9’s pricing structure for the UK revealed a few days ago that the handset will cost £100 more than the Galaxy S8. The report suggested that the same 100-point increase will be reflected in the US, where the Galaxy S9 will cost $100 more than its predecessor.A new report from Europe seems to corroborate the price increase, claiming that Europeans will have to pay €100 more for the Galaxy S9.Dutch-language site TechTastic, which offered similar details in the past, learned from sources familiar with the matter that the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will cost €899 and €999 in the Netherlands.

The Chicago Bears are expected to part ways with quarterback Mike Glennon , per a published report . Glennon was signed to a three-year, million contract by the Bears less than one year ago with the initial plans for him to be the team's starter.

The entire Mike Glennon experiment in Chicago lasted all but four starts. Less than a year after signing the career backup to a three-year, $45 million contract, the Bears are expected to move on from Glennon completely this offseason.

“The writing is clearly on the wall that Glennon will not be playing in Chicago next season,” ESPN’s Jeff Dickerson reports.

Glennon, 28, posted a 1-3 record with four touchdowns and five interceptions in his four starts last season prior to being replaced under center by rookie Mitch Trubisky. The quarterback’s deal called for $18.5 million guaranteed, meaning that the Bears will incur a $4.5 million dead cap hit when they eventually release him this offseason. This also means that the team paid him north of $4.6 million per start during his brief tenure in the Windy City.

The Chicago Bears have their sights set on their next quarterback.

With a projected cap hit of $16 million in 2018, it’s not a surprise that the Bears would move on from Glennon. Though, it’s a clear indication that the decision to sign him last March was a major mistake for GM Ryan Pace and Co.

Allen Robinson, Jaguars have not talked contract since training camp .
It is still early in the offseason, but it is worth pointing out there is currently a lack of communication between the Jacksonville Jaguars and impending free agent, wide receiver Allen Robinson. According to Jaguars beat writer, Mike Kaye, the two parties have not discussed a contract extension for Robinson since training camp last year.During my conversation with #Jaguars WR Allen Robinson, we discussed his impending free agency. He told me the two sides haven't had contract negotiations since last year's training camp. Keep in mind, it's still early in the offseason and those negotiations still could happen.
