After he was drafted, Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen swore revenge on the nine teams that passed on him – specifically, one would assume, the Browns, Bills and Jets, who all took a different quarterback.

(Rosen confirmed that he's still carrying a chip on his shoulder, by the way.)

Rosen won't get his first chance to show them what they're missing until Saturday night, but two of the quarterbacks taken ahead of the UCLA product took the field Thursday night.

NFL draft experts undersold how good this year's rookie quarterbacks could be, and Carson Wentz and Dak Prescott are making us all look foolish. Hargreaves has been quiet (in a good way) for the Buccaneers, who dropped him right into their starting lineup in Week 1 and kept him there.

If this inaugural weekend of NFL preseason action is any indication of how the season will go, then rookie quarterbacks will be the big story Wentz fared a little better than his numbers would indicate, but still only completed 50 percent of his passes and threw a pick before suffering a hairline fracture.

Baker Mayfield

The No. 1 overall pick put on an impressive show for the Cleveland Browns. He finished his night 11-of-20 passing for 212 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions, including this long touchdown to fellow rookie Antonio Callaway:
